General terms and conditions of sales


The following clauses establish the general terms and conditions of the sales of the items offered by the company TINSELS on their website at: 

By accepting the terms and conditions of sales and by clicking on “Confirm your order”, the customer definitively confirms their order. 

The company TINSELS makes it impossible to sell the items without having first accepted the following clauses:



OBJECT: The present terms aim to define the sales conditions between Tinsels and the customer, from the order to the services, from the payment to the delivery. These terms regulate all the necessary steps to the order’s realisation and insure the order follow-up between the contracting parties.



ITEMS: Tinsels’ job is in offering for sale their own clothes and other items and fashion accessories as long as stocks last. The items are the ones appearing as being for sale on the day of the user’s consultation. When the item is not available anymore, it will be posted on the website. Failing that, in the event of an error, Tinsels commits to inform the customer by email as soon as possible. If the item has already been paid, Tinsels commits to reimburse the price of the item to the customer. The goods offered for sale are described and presented with the best possible accuracy. Nevertheless, if some errors or omissions have appeared within this presentation, Tinsels’ cannot be held responsible. The pictures and texts illustrating the items do not enter in the contractual field.



PRICE OF ITEMS: The prices are shown in euros inclusive of taxes, in France and in the European Union, except for French Overseas Departments for whom the prices do not include taxes; the delivery taxes will be charged to the customer.

The prices include the VAT applicable at the date of the order. These prices do not include participation in treatment costs (postage, packing and making of the package under applicable amounts). Any change of VAT will be applied to the prices of the products. After that date, they are subject to change at any time. However, the prices will not be able to be modified once the order has been made by the customer. Likewise, if one or several taxes or contributions would happen to be created or modified, whether upwards or downwards, this change will be reflected in the prices of the actual items on Tinsels’ website.

The prices listed on the site are guaranteed for the duration that they are on-line and within the limits of available stocks.

The orders out of the European Community are invoiced excluding tax (VAT: 20%). Upon arrival, the said orders shall be subject to the local tax. Further details should be available from your country’s custom services.

The price billed to the customer is the one stated on the order confirmation.




- PLACING AN ORDER: The customer placing an order directly on www.tinsels.frshall use the following procedure: the customer will choose the different items they like and will click successively on the link “Add to basket”. At any time they will have the possibilities to: either obtain a summary of the chosen items by clicking on the link “My basket”; or continue their shopping. The customer will end their order by clicking on “Pay now”.

 The order can only be placed on the website if the customer clearly identified themselves through the entry of their strictly personal email address and password. Once the user has been identified, they will have to validate the address of delivery. They will then receive a purchase order by email confirming: the nature, quantity and price of the withheld items, as well as the chosen method of payment, the customer’s contact details and the address of delivery. Any order implies acceptance of price and description of the available items for sale.

The shipping prices are calculated according to the country of delivery and of the number of sent items, as described in the article 6 underneath.

- PROCESSING THE ORDER: Every order implies the full acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sales.

Every order will be taken into consideration only when the payment has been accepted.

Tinsels undertakes to fulfil all orders received while stocks last. In case of unavailability of the item, Tinsels undertakes to inform the customer by all available means. The customer will then be able to cancel their order and get a reimbursement, if needs be.

Tinsels reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there would be a dispute regarding payment of a previous order.



PAYMENT AND TRANSACTIONS SECURITY: the total sum owed by the customer is the one indicated at the validation of the order. In order to ensure secure payments, the website uses the services of secured payments from the following companies: Paypal, American Express and CYBER PLUS (Banque Populaire). The payment will be done on through Paypal or by card (debit, Visa, American Express). In any case, Tinsels reserves the right to refuse any order or delivery in the event of an existing dispute with the customer, namely: non-payment or partial payment of an order; declined payment by bank card, or for any other reason that Tinsels reserves the right to explain to their customer. Tinsels’ responsibility will then not be engaged in any case in this capacity.


When the order is validated, the payment is made live on the secured payment administrator; the later will then deliver an e-certificate.



The shipping costs are charged to the customer and depend on the country of delivery. They will be specified to the customer at the order’s confirmation.


The orders will be delivered to the address given by the user in the following countries: metropolitan France, French Overseas Departments and Territories, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Norway, Bosnia Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Belarus, Ukraine, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina.

Tinsels reserves the right to choose the haulier and guarantees the orderly delivery of the items. The risks of transports are at the customer’s expense.


The delivery times are the following and are susceptible to change:


The orders are processed in the three working days following their reception. The delivery times run from this date. Except in case of force majeure, they will be available from 72 hours for France to 4 to 8 working days for other countries, depending on the destination.


The delivery times can be longer during clearance, sales, or special offers and for discontinued items.


The deliveries are made with La Poste Collisimo services for France. Tinsels does not deliver to PO boxes. The delivery has to be signed for upon receipt. 

If absent at the time of delivery, a notice of proceeding is left in the mailbox of the recipient. The later will have 15 days to come and collect the parcel at their local post office.

Tinsels’ responsibility shall not be involved in cases of late arrival, whatever the reasons. Consequently, no claim for compensation shall be done to Tinsels by the customer, whatever its character.


However, in the event of reception of an open and/or damaged parcel (a parcel showing visible traces of opening and/or deterioration) the customer must imperatively refuse it. Indeed, the parcels leaving Tinsels’ warehouses are always prepared with great care and must be delivered as such. If a damaged parcel has been left in the customer’s mailbox, or if someone accepts it on the customer’s behalf, the parcel will be considered accepted as it stands. If no reclamation has been done within 3 working days following the reception of the delivery at Tinsels’ customer services: shop@tinsels.fror by recommended letter at 6, allée de l’expansion, 69340 Francheville, FRANCE, Tinsels will not be able to consider eventual disappearances, nor could they proceed to an eventual compensation.


Any claim expressed after that delay will be rejected. Tinsels will be cleared of all responsibility if the aforementioned conditions are followed.



- NON-COMPLIANCE OF THE ORDER / DAMAGED ITEM: In accordance with the article L121-20-3 of the French Consumer Code, Tinsels -as a professional- is liable towards the customer regarding the good execution of the obligations resulting from the contract concluded remotely, that these obligations are to be executed by the professional who contracted the contract or by other service providers, without prejudice to their right to claim against the said agents; on the other hand, the company may be released from all or part of the liability by proving that the non-fulfilment or poor fulfilment of the contract is attributable either to the consumer; or to an unforeseeable and unsurmountable act of a third party; or to a case of force majeure.

In case of discrepancies regarding the delivery, that is to say, in case of defective items or non-compliance in nature (error in the colour reference), the customer must make a claim as soon as possible to Tinsels at

Any complaint formulated after the 3 days following the delivery will not be accepted.

The absence of complaint or the non emission of reservations from the customer mean that the delivered item is satisfying and that it will not be subject to subsequent dispute.


- CANCELLATION: RIGHT OF RETRACTION: In accordance with articleL121-20 of the French Consumer Code as modified by the ruling No 2001-741 from August 23rd, 2001 and the law No 2014-344 from March 17th, 2014, the right of retraction is 14 days as of the following day of the item delivery.

The exercise of this right is carried out through the intermediary of the form one can find in the customer’s Tinsels online account.

The exercise of this right leads to the reimbursement of the payments after qualitative and quantitative checking of the returned items.


- RETURNS: The returns will be at the customer’s initiative, convenience and cost.

The articles must imperatively be in a good condition and put back in their original packaging, with additional packaging to be used to ensure the item is covered entirely; they must not bear any trace of use and they must come with their accessories.

It is only after checking that these conditions are satisfactory that Tinsels will proceed with the reimbursement of the paid sums on the account of the returned items. Otherwise, no reimbursement would be required; the customer would remain the owner of the item, which they will be able to retrieve from Tinsels’ head office within one month at the latest.



INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: All texts, comments, pictures, brands, illustrations and images reproduced on the website www.tinsels.frare protected by intellectual property and for the whole world. Total or partial reproduction of the website www.tinsels.fris strictly forbidden.



COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY AND FREEDOM: Tinsels, for the need of their activity, reserves the right to collect data about users of the website, including the use of cookies. The consumer has confirmed being aware of this obligation. In any case and in accordance with the law of January 6th, 1978 consolidated by the law 2004-801 from August 6th, 2004, the customer has the right to access and modify any information about them that would be held in Tinsels company’s files. Any customer of the website can oppose the commercial use of this information at any moment; besides, they benefit from a right of access, rectification and suppression of their personal contact details, directly on internet through the contact section of the website.



SIGNATURE AND PROOF: In any case, giving bank details and validating the order will be taken as integrity of the said order, in accordance with the dispositions of the law from March 13th, 2000 and these actions will require the payment of the costs engaged through the input of items on the purchase order.

This validation is worth as signature and explicit acceptance of all operations made on the website. However, in case of fraudulent use of their credit card, the customer is invited to contact Tinsels as soon as they establish such use, by sending an email to



ENTIRE AGREEMENT: These general terms and conditions of sales and the order’s summary given to the customer shape a contractual framework and constitute the entire contractual relationship between the parties.



APPLICABLE LAW/LANGUAGE: These general terms and conditions of sales are administered by French law. Two identical versions of the general terms and conditions of sales are available on the website one in French, the other one in English. In the event of contradiction between the two versions, the French one will prevail.

The court having jurisdiction in the event of a dispute will be the one where the defendant has a place of residence or, at the complainant’s choice, at the place of effective delivery of the item.
